Janine’s jewelry artworks are inspired by the elements of nature and reflect a diverse artistic background shaped by a formal international education and a rich Chinese heritage. Her influences encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, including art history, design, and culture.

While she is well-versed in metalsmithing and filigree, Janine’s primary focus has been on mastering various enameling techniques, including cloisonné and plique-à-jour. Recently, She has been exploring the boundaries of enamel painting by experimenting with diverse mediums such as liquid enamels and mason stains typically used in ceramics. Her goal is to revitalize these ancient art forms with a contemporary aesthetic, a process that is as challenging as it is rewarding.
