Lines and Revelations: Sgriffito Interpretations in Vitreous Enamel
An Open Exhibition of Sgraffito Work by The Enamelist Society Membership in Honor of Richard C. McMullen.
A simple, straightforward technique with infinite possibilities, sgriffito reveals line, pattern and color. This exhibition will showcase how our members push the boundaries of this enameling staple.
Open to current Enamelist Society members. Each member may submit up to two individual pieces. Members may collaborate on one more piece. All Entries must include: An artist statement (300 words max) and a description of the piece (150 words maximum). Please submit images between 3mb – 5mb
ENTRY DEADLINE The deadline for entry is Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 11:59PM, eastern time.
This exhibition will open virtually as an online exhibition before traveling to in-person venues, including Emerge Gallery in Greenville, NC, and in conjunction with Alchemy 8 at the 2027 in-person conference. Works are required to remain a part of the exhibition until its conclusion.
