Online Student Exhibition

The Enamelist Society is highlighting the accomplishments of students throughout the world. Vitreous enamel works of original design completed after January 1, 2024 are eligible. If you are a student at any educational institution, working under instructor supervision, you are eligible.

Cash awards will be given for exceptional artworks. Entries are due on September 30, 2025, 11:59 PM eastern time with a fee of $15 for up to two pieces. The exhibition will go live on The Enamelist Society website by November 15th, 2025. Entries cannot have been exhibited in a previous Enamelist Society exhibition. There should be nothing to identify the artist in the images or image titles and descriptions (no signatures, no faces, etc). We can't wait to see what you all create!

Barbara Seidenath and Nicholas Hesson are the jurors for this exhibition. 

Barbara Seidenath is a jeweler, enamelist and educator based in Providence, RI. who earned her MFA in Jewelry at Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Hermann Jünger. Prior to her retirement in 2023, Barbara was an adjunct faculty member in the Jewelry Department at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, as well as Associate Professor in the Jewelry and Metals Department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA. She has taught extensively in Colleges and Non-profit Craft organizations across the US.


Nicholas Hesson is an art educator, jeweler, enamelist, and CAD designerNicholas found his passion for enameling during his undergraduate studies at Tyler School of Art and Architecture. This led him to take enameling workshops and pursue his MFA at East Carolina University where his enameling could flourish. He currently serves on the board for the Enamel Guild Northeast and works as a Silversmith for Tiffany & Co. Nicholas can also be found teaching jewelry and enameling at local non-profits in the New England area.
