What the Water Remembers explores the relationship between the world above and below the surface of the water where physical objects disappear and return as both myth and objects of memory real or imagined. The surfaces of the hands are marked with imagery inspired by marine life and organic growth suggesting the traces left behind by time, water, and experience.
