I like the duality of things. I like the tension between two opposites. I like the contrast between fragility and permanence. My background as an industrial designer draws me to functional forms, but my inner artist yearns for the impractical. I like to challenge the ideas of permanence and stability by embracing the imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. I try to have each piece draw you in with familiar symbols, common iconography, and imagery that feels both modern and gives a nod to historical nostalgia.
