These past years I learned from the Tuesday talks how to perfect my techniques and was exposed to unexpected and spectacular designs. The dedication and hard work of the artists are humbling and encouraged me to try harder and increase the breadth and depth of my enameling work.
In my quest to learn and improve on enameling techniques I was lucky to encounter Katlen Wilcox at Pocosin arts center for a very thorough workshop as well as Jan Harrell, wo is a phenomenal teacher.
The inspiration for the Wheel of energy comes from a combination of my new obsession with patterns and sgraffito. When Patricia Nelson mentioned "writing" at one of the Tuesday talks my mind was made and i had to work really hard to get it completed before the deadline.
