Textures, colors, and abnormalities exposed in our society aid me in seeing the repetition of mechanized patterns; often, an array of discarded materials, and accidental color combinations reveal a stunning stratum-like beauty. I pull inspiration from everywhere to build jewelry and surfaces that offer an aesthetically pleasing point of view from the world we live in. Maps and buildings are strong influences in my life.

I construct each piece using predictable precious metals and stones, but as a multi-disciplinary artist, I combine modern materials like thread, fabric, cookie tins and yarn to create a small copy or artifact extracted from domestic interiors that anyone can recognize and identify with. Polka dots from fashion, coral from family vacations, etc.

I strongly identify and relish in the memories the works bring to me.
