After retirement, I completed my certificate of sculpture at the Glassell School of Art, Houston, Texas. During my work years, I always made time for art and classes, including more than 10 years of night classes. My hands have taken a beating working with wood, and I am moving my practice to the wall with assemblage, enameling, and drawing. As a process driven artist, I find enameling has so many avenues to explore and a very resourceful community willing to share all the rewards of experimenting. The intangible begs for connection and to be transformed into a visual dialogue. I find inspiration from dreams, intuition and ghost memories.
