Color in Flow by Ashley Liu

Jewelry

Enamel, copper

My work explores the intersection of color, emotion, and movement through contemporary jewelry and enamel-based objects. In my series Color in Flow, I use enamel layered on metal and combined with gemstones to capture the shifting states of emotion. The surfaces reveal gradients and depth, inviting viewers to experience color as both visual and sensory flow.

I am Ashley Liu, a jewelry artist from Taiwan and a graduate student in Jewelry Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. With training in traditional metalworking and enameling, I draw inspiration from nature, travel, and personal memory to create pieces that balance craftsmanship with conceptual storytelling. My work often bridges jewelry, sculpture, and wearable art, reflecting a dialogue between material exploration and contemporary design.
