My work does not tackle the abstract or esoteric, but rather the simple pleasure of beauty. I strive to create works of art that make the wearer feel as dynamic and unique as the artwork itself.
History and nature provide very broad references for my work: From frescoes and their home in architecture, to golden funerary diadems. From high end haute couture to dime store depression-era plastic. And of course, the ever changing four seasons of a back yard garden.
Precious metals, gem stones, fossils and minerals, pearls, and vitreous enamels are my jewelry palette. It is my desire that my work brings joy and becomes an heirloom for the next generation...always modern, but classical and timeless.
