The body of work I am currently exploring focuses on the innocuous fallopian tube, a uniquely female aspect of reproduction, to convey my personal thoughts on womanhood. Using the fallopian tube as a muse, I create portraits of women that juxtapose reproductive conception that occurs in the tube with the belief that women are more than just vessels used to continue the species, but unique individuals with their own thoughts, dreams, and beliefs.
