Katy Bergman Cassell - Electroforming for the Enamelist

Students will explore how electroplating can be used to create fun and fluid 3D forms ripe for enameling. Students will learn multiple methods for sculpting, wax, techniques for successful copper plating, along with safe wax removal and surface preparation prior to enameling. Demonstrations will also include tips for adhering enamel to the 3D surface and minimizing trivet marks while firing.
