James Carter - 3D Cloisonné Enamel

This class will focus on the wire bending skills on a three dimensional surface. It requires more skill than regular cloisonné on a flat or slightly domed surface. Students will choose between a football bead, a round bead, or a barrel bead. Kiln furniture for firing your own kiln will be supplied by instructor. Instructions for making your own kiln furniture will be included. Included in this class will be a video on how to fabricate caps for the beads to give them a professional look. This is an advanced class. A finished bead is the objective, but learning the technique is even more important.
