Mauricette Pinoteau

Techniques Learned in the Fauré Studios
Location: Columbus, OH

This special 5 day workshop, spanning both pre- and post-conference, will resurrect the techniques developed in Atelier Fauré in Limoges, France, from the 1920’s to the 1980’s.  The unique Fauré vessels include brilliant transparents over foil, subtle shading with opalescents, and a unique carved dimensionality to the enamel.

Mauricette Pinoteau comes to us from Limoges where she owns a gallery and continues to enamel in the Fauré “style”. She is only one of two living enamelists who learned from the masters while working at Atelier Fauré and is eager to pass on her knowledge.

This workshop is made possible by a generous donation from Rio Grande.
