Educators Forum
As part of the conference sub theme, the Resurgence of Enameling in the 21st Century, the Enamelist Society recognizes the need for more enamel educators and educational opportunities. The purpose of the forum is to bring teachers of enameling, as well as prospective teachers, together to discuss the nuts and bolts and general educational issues pertaining to the teaching of enameling. This 2 hour forum will be held on Friday, August 7.
Opening night will include a viewing of the 2 international juried exhibitions sponsored by the Society and the presenting of awards to the artists for their outstanding work. The reception will be held in the gallery and in the patio surrounding the gallery. Light refreshments will be served.
This event corresponds to a popular gallery tour called Oakland Art Murmur held on the first Friday of every month in the City of Oakland.
